Still in safe mode, I ran msconfig and it starts, however I never see the Windows Firewall / ICS service. Again in safe mode I tried to run the Microsoft Security Essentials and it just times out and never starts.

I booted-up in safe mode and when I use microsoft explorer I am automatically directed to a google website. Similarly, I tried to run mscong to look at the services running and I received the same message. My Microsoft Security Essentials program is no longer running and when I tried to run it from the program menu I got a pop up window asking me what program I would like to open it with. I have not started it.Р”Р„ couple of other things that I have noticed. Now when I try to start the Windows firewall from the control panel I received a message that says the Windows Firewall / Internet Community Sharing services is not installed and asks me if I want to start it. Now that I think about it I should never have let the firewall be disabled. I'm not sure if Nucleustechnologies was the problem or if I got something when the firewall was disabled. I ran malware bytes and it found and removed items but I still have problems. After that I was surfing the internet and had a virus pop up. It took a bout 6 hours to transfer (2 GB) file and errored out before it completed. I thought it was some type of FTP transfer but when I ran it disabled my windows firewall. They sent me a program to send them the file. I was having problems with the program so they told me to send them the file and they would look at it. It all started when I purchased a program on line from Nucleustechnologies 'Kernel for Outlook PST Repair.' They seem legit.
